On today’s blog post, I want to share ways on how to monetize your blog. I’ll be giving out helpful tips on how can you really start making money online. But still, it’s up to you on what way would you like to focus on monetizing your blog.
There are many ways to monetize from blogging, but I don’t claim, that all of these works for all bloggers out there. I’m going to be honest that until now I’m still working on it. It takes research and a lot of patience. Will be sharing my experiences too but of course it will differ from you or other bloggers out there. So here we go.
Google AdSense is still the most sure-fire way to monetize your blog. It can give you decent amount of money once your blog starts getting immense traffic.
If you are getting 1,000 visits per day, you can simply expect around 200-300 USD a through blog traffic alone. It’s a matter of placing your google ads wisely. More Clicks = More money!
As for me, I had a hard time getting approved for the Google Ads. There are lot to consider like ensuring your website has cookies notifications, privacy and disclosure agreement and a lot more. TIP: Research on how can you get approved with Google Adsense first.
Doing product reviews and posting it on your blog is one of the effective ways to make monetize your blog too. You can charge (depending on you) per product or per whole review. Usually companies target blogs with huge readership (not to discourage beginners) to promote their products.
Some bloggers purchase products and do a review on their own and promote it. Though this is not a sure guarantee that it’s going to gain you money. But experience counts you know 😉
The good thing with product review is you don’t need to attract massive traffic since you’ll be paid.
5.Monetize through Banner Ads
Some bloggers are not interested in placing Google AdSense on their website. Another way to monetize your blog is through showing banner ads. You can do this if your blog has potential traffic by using Buy Sell Ads Services. This will get many opportunities from other people to place their ads on your sites.
TIP: Try contacting some big brands in your niche for direct advertisement. This is one of the profitable method to earn from blogging. Start by searching brands and their contact email. Construct a nice email about your offer and send it to each brand’s email. Don’t do a group message. But it should be one by one.
6.Selling Your Own Products
If product reviews, google ads and banner ads doesn’t work for you. You might want to sell your own products. It can range from selling eBooks, information products, plugins, themes etc. It totally depends on you. If you are selling online services, your skills definitely counts. If you know web design, then try promoting it.
Just figure out where you are really good at. Or perhaps if you are a makeup artist, you can sell your services through your website. Promote your work through good pictures of your makeup masterpiece and testimonials from clients. Analyze first on what you can do or offer out there.
As for me, I don’t have anything to sell yet on my blog. I’m thinking of beauty products or enter web designing since I really like designing but I’m a mediocre when it comes to its technical side like the HTML and CSS. I want to consider enrolling myself to a class to amp up my learning.
AS per research Affiliate marketing can make you money even when you sleep. I was like, whattt??? Affiliate marketing is the right choice for you if you have some skills to sell others products on your blog. Well no one likes to buy stuff from strangers. If you have an email list of hungry people you can make lots of money from affiliate marketing. Patience is the real key in making more money from affiliate marketing.
I honestly haven’t tried this so I suggest doing more research what affiliate marketing is, how can you start, or are there any tools that works best for your blog for affiliate marketing.
8.Building An Email List
One of the best ways to make monetize your website is to build an email list. Email list is the way to go if you want to make decent income from your blogging labors. According to research, if you are not building an email list, you are undeniably losing money on the table. To be honest I’m still in the starting point in creating one. I don’t think I have even a decent amount of subscribers on my blog. That’s why I really need to work on it!
How to start an email list?
Find The Best Email Service Provider
When considering an email service provider, you’ll want to make sure you can: 1) Build a database of email subscribers. 2) It can set up automated follow-up sequences. 3) Send emails to numerous people at the same time. 4) It should be able to place signup forms on your website and landing pages.
I highly suggest watching video tutorials (that’s what I’m will do as well). AS of now, my email list is through Mailer Lite. Though my domain host or blog provider has its free through jetpack or go daddy. There are too many technical sides to it. So you really need to educate yourself and have your mind organized.
