First I like to apologize if you’re seeing a lot of photobucket blocked images on my blog posts. The one which shows: “3rd party hosting has been temporarily disabled“. Most of my photos in this blog are hosted by photobucket. Even during my early blogging stages in high school I’ve been using it. Then all of a sudden the users of photobucket gets this. Though photobucket addressed this issue in this article. A lot of users (including me) got really annoyed. But what’s done is done. I would need to find a better hosting website (for FREE) but I don’t think I can find any time sooner. This post is in me Bidding bye to Photobucket.
Below is a screenshot of my bucket below. Reminiscing that these photos that I used for my blog won’t be available on my blog anymore
I’m also working on pimping this blog. I started to focus more on about beauty but I felt very limited. I just have lots of ideas that I cannot discuss on the blog if I’ll just stick to a particular niche. And how a great timing it is for photobucket to do such change where I I’m starting to get active on my blog and trying to monetize it.
I don’t want to think too much about though I really need a site to host my photos. Well I have done some research and I’ve come up with sites like, imgur, Google photos, Flickr, 500px, ImageShack, and a lot more. I’m planning to sign up to Imgur, 500 px, and image shack just to figure out which fits my blog better. Though right now I just recently signed up for flick, I haven’t gotten the gist of uploading stuff there.
Have you tried using 3rd party hosting websites? Let me know in the comments below or contact me here, and be sure to leave your requests for any posts you’d like to read here on my blog too! Thanks for reading! 😉
