Amazing Benefits Of Milk And Honey For Your Skin

I’m a lover of all things natural for the skin. Just because it doesn’t have harmful chemicals and it’s easily available in the grocery store. Like milk and honey. Milk and honey are staples in the kitchen. You’ve read and heard a lot how it benefits the skin. But are you using it the righty way? And what benefits are you getting? I spill the beans on how really good are milk and honey on the skin and drill down each benefits for you.

First: Benefits of Milk

As most of us know, drinking milk is the most common (the best and easiest) source of calcium. Milk is a very important part of our lifestyle. It is highly nutritious because it has vitamins, proteins, and carbohydrates. The vitamins and minerals include calcium, magnesium, phosphorous, zinc, vitamin A, B, D, and riboflavin.

Milk is abundant for improving skin complexion. How?

Just apply raw milk all over your face and neck and leave it for 10 minutes. Rinse off with fresh water. This will make your skin fairer and softer within minutes. Try doing this daily for better results.

Also, you prepare a face mask by mixing 2 tablespoons of milk and a tablespoon of honey. Mix until you get a thick texture. Apply this on clean skin and allow it to dry for 10 to 15 minutes. The milk will soften your skin while the honey works as anti bacterial too. Will discuss more about honey in this blog too. So stay tuned 😉

Milk works as an excellent cleanser. Especially if you have sensitive skin. You can use raw milk on a cotton ball and wipe it all over your face with. Rinse it fresh water after 5 minutes. It’ll make your skin clean and supple. Best to use cold water when rinsing too.

Milk helps to lessen swollen pimples, reduce allergic reactions and heal wounds. It is also great relief for sunburned skin. Just want to emphasize to use raw milk instead of your regular milk which is sweetened. Sweetened milk has a sticky feel on the skin.

How about honey?

Not that kind of honey. I’m talking about honey that is a sweet substance that is naturally produced by bees. Using Honey for skin is always a good idea and it makes for effective and inexpensive beauty treatment. Applying honey often on your skin can give you results beyond your imagination and can go a long way in giving you healthy and glowing skin.

The enzymes present in honey enables it to easily seep into the skin while conditioning it and softening it from deep within. It is also a good pore cleanse because it contains antioxidants, antiseptic, and antibacterial properties, it helps to rid your skin of blackheads by eliminating dirt from pores. It then hydrates and tightens skin too.

Milk + Honey = Healthy Skin!

Mixing these 2 will give amazing benefits for your skin. and it’s all natural! Imagine that both of these ingredients are very beneficial on the skin. That’s why a lot of skin care products nowadays has either milk or honey.
